This is down to our new website, new activities at the club including the Kayak Club and the way the committees and members pull together. Thank you to all those that support and help develop the club making our facilities stand out from the crowd and making us the go to club for the area.
Open Day 2019 7th July 10am-4pm
Planning for the Open Day is well under way with 12 confirmed stands. If you know of a local boat business that would like to have a free pitch for the day we have 6 spaces left. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the details and an invite will be sent. The Open Day also counts for 8 of your participatory hours if you attend from 10am – 4pm so please sign up on the Participatory board at the club or email marketing if you can help on this very important day for the club.
If you have to put the gate on to manual operation for any reason please make sure you inform one of the emergency contacts ASAP. (Names and numbers are in the year book and on the board in the club)
Rubbish on Site
Please make sure you take your rubbish home. Do not leave bagged rubbish for the seagulls and the rats to sort through!
On a similar theme, someone has “lost” a porta potti in the boat yard. If it belongs to you please reclaim it.
The club AGM will be on Saturday 30 November. There will be elections for committee positions in line with our rules. Please consider joining the committee and working to improve our club. If you are thinking about this and helping out let us know and come and join the general committee meetings to find out what goes on.
Masts on the Lawn
If you have your mast currently on the lawn, please make sure it is moved by 7th April (this Sunday)
