Supervision of young members at the club
Please ensure that youngsters at the club are supervised at all times there is a concern that the flower dinghy on the lawn has had the flowers trampled on by some small feet indicating that it is being run across by one or some of our youngsters. This flower dinghy is maintained by the members and has just been replanted due to the damage caused. Please also advise your youngsters that if there is cruiser launching at the club and the slipway is bordered by the red and white chain not to cross this chain for their own safety but to walk the long way round. Thank you in advance for passing this message on.

Jetty Project Update
One of the planned projects starting at the end of this year in October is the repair of the club Jetty. Thanks to Ken Endean and the Mooring and Pound Committee the planning behind the scenes is well underway with the view to start the repair and replacement process from October 2019. This is a large project for the Club and we are asking for volunteers on week ends between October 2019 and April 2020 to assist. Plans will be available soon to update members on how the Jetty will look on completion. The majority of this work will include cutting and drilling the new support structure and helping to move new components into place. Please sign up below if you can help on some weekends between the dates above and thank you in advance for your assistance. http://

Club Balcony Update
Please note – Until further notice the balcony will be closed for refurbishment works. Thank you to the Tuesday club for your hard work in getting this project underway and for the team that developed and planned these essential works. As the project progresses we will be looking for a work party to fit the planks. Watch this space for updates in the near future……

If you have one of the old planks in your name they are now available for collection. Please pass this on to any past members you know.
