SUMMARY:Dinghy Sail training
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first sail training weekend of 2024\n\nWe have 
 a fantastic team of volunteer RYA qualified Instructors and Senior Instruc
 tors and we are very keen to help new sailors to learn the ropes easily in
  a fun supportive atmosphere.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWe tend to arrange 4 to 5 trai
 ning weekends per year in which we offer free training to club members and
  their children using our fleet of club owned boats which include Picos\, 
 Lasers\, Fusions and Wayfarers.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nIf you join the club\, you w
 ould be most welcome to take part\, the weekends are lively\, with up 15 b
 oats on the water and up to 25 trainees\, parents\, kids and adults. We pr
 actice on-water skills\, usually in two groups\, beginners and improvers a
 nd often end the day with a drink and BBQ. Once trainees feel able\, we en
 courage them to join in our general sailing activities using our club boat
 s. These events are mostly based around the club’s dinghy racing program
 \, races take place around once a week or fortnight depending on tides and
  the time of year.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAs an RYA training centre\, we follow all
  their safety protocols and have up to three powerful rescue boats and qua
 lified crew supervising our training activities.  We have a process of mo
 nitoring progress and are able to issue certificates for the junior and ad
 ult sailing schemes of the RYA.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAs a volunteer run club\, we
  expect parents to remain on-site and either join in with the training or 
 assist in the many different activities necessary to make a successful tra
 ining day.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nDo email me if you would like more information ab
